Scorpio Pools
Scorpio Pools
Scorpio has over 20 years of experience managing pools comprised of tankers, VLGC’s, dry bulk, and chemical carriers. Scorpio’s interests are fully aligned with those of all Pool Partners as the company makes strategic investments and commitments in each pool. Systems and processes are in place to ensure complete transparency and a fair distribution of earnings.
Our top-tier operations and chartering team, along with the high-quality tonnage contributed in the pools by the participants and favored by customers, have consistently generated higher TCE returns. The homogenous fleets allow Scorpio pools to secure contracts of affreightment supporting the cargo base yet maintaining the necessary flexibility to benefit from trading opportunities which may arise from time to time.
We offer flexible terms for entering and exiting pools. Thanks to robust credit lines from leading financial institutions, working capital requirements for Pool Partners are minimized, thereby allowing for higher and regular distributions of earnings.
