Open job position  for a Wiper at Astor Shipmanagement. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the engine room, assisting in the maintenance and operation of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting engineers with the maintenance and cleaning of engines and machinery.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the engine room and associated areas.
  • Following safety protocols and reporting any issues to supervisors.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous seagoing  experience or as Engine Cadet is an advantage .
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
  • Valid STCW certification and other mandatory maritime documents.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work well as a part of a team.
